Exploring Tallulah Gorge And Beyond

Check-in
Terrora Campgrounds – Whether you prefer an open RV and tent space, or a cozy cabin, Terrora Campgrounds provide exceptional facilities for every kind of outdoor lover.

Morning
Start your morning off with a breathtaking view and hike of Tallulah Gorge. For the daring and adventurous explorers, hike the Hurricane Falls Trail. It’s hands-down the most popular trail at the park. The Hurricane Falls Trail descends the stairs to the park’s suspension bridge, crossing the 80-foot high bridge over the roaring Tallulah River. Descend more stairs to visit the base of the thundering Hurricane Falls waterfall before making an epic stair climb back to the rim. Be sure to secure your park pass!

Afternoon

Continue the adventure by exploring the Tallulah Gorge Rim Trail. This 1.8-mile loop trail offers stunning views and is considered to be moderately challenging. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit during all seasons.

Evening

Stop by City Butcher and Fish in Clarkesville (on your drive-in if possible) for high-quality meats sourced locally. Forget your charcoal, seasonings, cutlery, or side dishes. City Butcher and Fish has you covered with a variety of supplies to complement your purchase. Finally, you can spend your evening grilling out on the Terrora Campgrounds and watching the beautiful sunset!
